About Me

My name is Ginger Brakke Shaw, and I am the Origami Lady. I started my own business 20 years ago and still going strong. I fold around 200 different items featuring holidays, animals, themes, etc..

In addition to being The Origami Lady I am also an elementary school teacher. I have been teaching in the Murray School District for 30 years and can handle any size group. For the past 13 years I have done the Origami Tree for the "Festival of Trees".The largest task I have done was a float for the Children's Parade in Salt Lake City, Utah. We had 60 large seagulls with flapping wings and black crickets on strings hopping down the road with the help of children.
